Very little work to do, and a very big game awaiting my alma-mater tonight.

YOU BETTER BE TALKING ABOUT BAYLOR AS YOUR ALMA MATER.

Everyone needs a safety school.

I hear ya. I have a ton of work to do, but tonight is a the game where my Alma Mater plays my Employer. (Oregon - Stanford) Of course in soccer, there is the Portland/Seattle playoff game tonight as well. Crazy night for sports around here, I can't wait for 5:00.

You should come back and play Texas A&M, then we'll see how your perfect season holds up.

You're an Aggie, right?

We drop a game and there's a good chance that matchup happens in the Cotton Bowl. On the list of games that would concern me, though, A& "We're Trying to Replicate Baylor's 2011 Defense" M is not one that scares me.

Ahh, I thought I saw that somewhere, my bad.

No, our defense isn't all that threatening, its our ability to give up 40 points to ranked SEC schools and then still win that is. Mostly because of this guy.

Yeah, SEC offenses are cute, aren't they?

Why is being a college football fan so stressful? The outcome of every Penn State game dictates my weekend. I need bye weeks more than the players. Best of luck to BU, only school in Texas I don't have a problem with.

New rule Alex: your team has to be in the SEC for 5 years until you can become an SEC fanboi.

New rule: You can't be in the Big 12 and pretend its important at all.

The entire Big 12 is cute. Especially Texas and their Longhorn Network.

Just making sure. If you went to o.u., I would have to stop talking to you.

Please... We're like the NSA.
THE EYES OF TEXAS ARE UPON YOU, ALL THE LIVE LONG DAY.
THE EYES OF TEXAS ARE UPON YOU,
YOU CANNOT GET AWAY.
DO NOT THINK THAT YOU CAN ESCAPE THEM,
AT NIGHT OR EARLY IN THE MORN'.
THE EYES OF TEXAS ARE UPON YOU
'TILL GABRIEL BLOWS HIS HORN.
Kinda creepy, if you think about it.

Go figure. Aggies have one good season (and a pompous Heisman winner, don't pretend he isn't) and they start acting like the Texas fans they've loathed for so many years.

To be fair, I wouldn't shut up about them before we had Manziel either. But congrats to Baylor for selling out their stadium for the 5th time since 1950.

Is that really the words to the Texas fight song? That's real creepy, especially in all caps. The only problem I have with Texas is the history with PSU in the late 1960s and 1970s when PSU kept going undefeated and not getting any titles because the Big 12 was so good.

I'm a Penn State fan and don't try to pretend the Big 10 is relevant. Penn State isn't good, and neither is anyone else aside from those fuckers in Columbus. That being said, I saw a Big 12 post and was elated because I get SO DAMN TIRED of the stupid SEC fanboyism here in Lexington. I like UK, have been to numerous games, but don't watch them now because it's just not good football, and I know they're gonna lose. Rich Brooks and Randal Cobb left, and it was over before it even started. Every hopeless UK fan who insists on watching them fumble and arm-tackle their way through 56-7 losses insists, "They're only one for because we're in the SEC. If UK was in the (insert conference here), they'd be at least 6-6 every year." Keep in mind, my Cats have lost to Western Kentucky, the newest addition to the FBS the last two years. The SEC is undoubtedly the best conference, but the reason the home town team loses week in and week out is because they outright blow at football. Therefore, SEC fanboyism is a pet peeve of mine.
